Column of the editor
Our theme
St. Petersburg

In 2003 St.Petersburg will be 300 years old.

On this occasion we intend to publish a few special issues of our magazine. We shall be happy if former St.Petersburgers, who, by the will of fate, were separated from our city and their descendants who are now living in different countries on all continents, will take part in the making of these editions. It is to them that we wish to address our questions:

  • What does St.Petersburg mean to you? Do you maintain personal or business contacts with it?

  • With whom in St.Petersburg would you like to restore your old contacts with the help of our magazine?

  • What would you or the members of your family like to wish St.Petersburg on the occasion of its 300-th anniversary?

We shall be happy if you respond to our questions. Please, send us your own photographs, the photos of places where you are living and working at the moment and the photocopies of the old pictures and documents connected with St.Petersburg which you have in your family archives. All of that will be helpful in the making of the jubilee issues of our magazine.

The best and the fastest way to send us your responses and photographs is, certainly, by E-mail. Our E-mail address is: segodnya_spb@mail.ru

Note that the computer layout should be in the TIFF, EPS format with the permission 300tpi.

Looking forward to your response to our proposal.

    Yours sincerely
    Anatoly Lubarsky,
